Point the camera and let go. The app finds the receipt, waits until it is flat and sharp, then takes the photo and crops it to the paper. Or import from your photo library. How the camera works
Screenshot an Amazon order, an Uber receipt or an emailed invoice and share it into ReceiptIQ AI — it's read exactly like a photographed receipt. We never connect to your Gmail or Outlook: no mailbox access, no sign-in. That's deliberate, not a missing feature.
Photograph a bank or credit-card statement, on paper or on a screen, and the AI reads every row into its own transaction — real batch scanning, one photo into many transactions, not one receipt per photo. A review list shows everything it found so you can tick which ones to add and adjust a category before saving.
Say it instead of typing it: “I bought coffee at Starbucks for $5.35” becomes a saved expense with the store, amount and category. Voice input currently works in English.
Reads the store, the date and every line item with its price, then checks that the items add up to the printed total.
The AI gives every item on the receipt its own category, so one supermarket trip can split into groceries, household and pharmacy. Change any of them with a tap.
A receipt in yen, euros or pounds is converted to your own currency at that day’s rate, with the printed amount kept alongside it. Japanese and Chinese receipts are read whatever language the app is set to. Read the Japan-trip story
Scan the same receipt twice by mistake and ReceiptIQ AI notices — same store, same day, same total — and tells you it's already saved instead of adding it again.
Sales tax, environmental and recycling fees, and refundable deposits are filed into their own Tax category, so you can see exactly what you paid in tax over any period.
Before each release the scanner is measured against real receipts from Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and the Netherlands, receipt by receipt. See how we test
One tap builds a PDF for any period: summary, per-category totals, and every receipt with its scan. Made for tax time and expense claims.
CSV or PDF for a month, a quarter, a tax year or any custom period — filtered to a single category when you need it.
See spending by category and by day for any period, set a budget for each category, and watch the budget bar fill as the month goes on.
Mark a bill as weekly, biweekly or monthly and ReceiptIQ AI adds the next one on its due day, so rent and subscriptions never go missing from the month.
One subscription unlocks up to 4 devices. Pair by QR code — receipts, categories, budgets, and photos sync directly between your family's phones when they're on the same WiFi with the app open, never through a server.
ReceiptIQ AI reads the text off the receipt on your iPhone and sends only that text to be interpreted. The photo itself stays on your device.
The app speaks 7 languages: English, Spanish, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Dutch, German and French. Receipts printed in Japanese or Chinese are read correctly whatever language the app is set to.
